Kim is a creative Executive Producer in TV and video, a digital video strategy expert, and on-camera media coach and public speaker with a proven track record and 500 million video views. She blends 15 years of journalism with content marketing at top-tier outlets including Us Weekly, where she launched and ran their video unit, Netflix, PopSugar, PEOPLE Magazine, and Fox News. She’s worked with brands such as Bloomingdale’s, Olay, Walgreens, Kia, It Gets Better, and Owl’s Brew. She has been called a ‘media unicorn’, and has been a speaker and instructor at PENN, Syracuse, and General Assembly. Kim is Founder & Principal at Henry Street Media which helps companies, individuals and publishers of all sizes expand their brand and maximize revenue through unforgettable content and communications. According to a special algorithm, Kim has approximately 25% more energy than 95% of humans.

At Netflix within Creative Marketing, Kim oversaw strategy, ideation and creative direction of original digital video and photo content ranging from 1-minute to 15-minutes for series including Stranger Things (Emmy winner), Orange is the New Black (Emmy winner), Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj (Peabody winner), Living With Yourself starring Paul Rudd and My Next Guest Needs No Introduction with David Letterman. Working alongside the world’s top creative talent and showrunners, Kim’s creative content merged data, the latest social media trends and custom creative to create compelling editorially-minded content tailored for each distribution channel - social (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram), digital, print publishers and broadcast TV. At Meredith Corporation, Kim produced their IAB Podcast Upfront 2020, as well as PEOPLE Magazine’s IAB 2020 NewFronts live-stream and leads Creative Development for new Programming and Strategy at PEOPLE.

As Head of Video / Executive Producer of Us Weekly, Kim created its first-ever digital video unit, an integral part of the recent $100 million sale for the legacy magazine company. Overseeing the creative, strategy, programming and production for all digital video content - both branded and editorial - Kim grew Us Weekly Video views 40x (to 41 million) in less than 2 years through innovative, shareable content distributed through a multi-platform approach on social media, Us Weekly's website and syndication partners. Kim supervised a team of 18, hundreds of monthly videos and constructed a live video facility and all the programming for Facebook Live, producing 300 hours and 700 live videos over a year. Kim also created Us Weekly franchise video series like "Out of This World with Coco Austin," “Teach Us,” "What's in My Bag," "25 Things," and "Inside My Kitchen." 

For Us Weekly’s branded content, Kim created and launched the flagship "Red Carpet Daily" for AT&T - a multi-million dollar program renewed for 5 quarters. She worked hand-in-hand with Sales and Marketing to respond to RFPs and oversaw from ideation to execution successful programs for clients like Bloomingdale's, Clairol, Olay, Nutrish, and Walgreens across the style, beauty, lifestyle, entertainment, parenting and pets sectors.

As the Vice President of Branded Video at PopSugar, Kim ideated and executed custom video programs for a variety of clients including Kenneth Cole, Instagram, Kia, Essie, Maybelline, Swiffer, Aveeno UK and more. Kim worked closely with sales and marketing to respond to RFPs and create proactive 360 programs to craft unique creative concepts from ideation through execution to deliver highly engaging, uniquely original video content ranging from 3 seconds to 30 minutes. Kim also created a programming slate of branded video content for digital and linear partners including Univision. Kim has a deep understanding of how to combine creative with deep data analysis and a multi-platform approach for Facebook, YouTube, Instagram & Instagram Stories, and linear TV. The end results: videos that lead to high social engagement, top spots on BrandTale's leaderboard and most importantly, happy clients.

Kim graduated with honors from the Annenberg School at the University of Pennsylvania, with a major in Communication and minors in Art History and Spanish. She is also an instructor. and featured speaker most recently at Penn, RTIR and AbelCine. She was an Order of Omega Honor Society member & Beta Eta Scholarship winner for leadership. Kim spent a year traveling around the world, she has two young children and loves a good pun.

TV HOST, WRITER, PRODUCER

Kim studied improv comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre, has performed all over New York City and is a versatile host, writer, producer and director. Kim was an on-air co-host for Us Weekly for live shows including The Bachelor Panel, Us Weekly News, and parenting content and was an on-air reporter for FiOS1 News. She can deftly cover a variety of content including news, documentary, lifestyle, pop culture, tech and finance like The Fabulous Life of Justin Bieber, Top 100 Sand & Surf Hotspots, Momsters: When Moms Go Bad with Roseanne Barr, and live daily news programs like On The Record with Greta Van Susteren and Inside Edition.

During her five years as a producer and writer of live news at Fox News' On the Record with Greta Van Susteren, Kim produced the 2008 Democratic National Convention, President Obama’s 2008 Inauguration and interviews with newsmakers like Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. She traveled to Peru to cover the arrest of Joran Van Der Sloot, which culminated in the show’s highest-rated two-night special. As a Supervising Producer for Inside Edition, Kim oversaw Inside Edition NY and Inside Edition Weekend. She reported from the tragic shooting at Virginia Tech, Superstorm Sandy and the Sandy Hook School shooting.

MULTIMEDIA & JEWELRY ARTIST

Kim is also a jewelry designer & entrepreneur, having founded k ritt jewelry, which Women’s Wear Daily called an “up-and-coming brand making their mark”. This architecturally-inspired jewelry line which merged fine art principles like positive & negative space and unique materials from Kim’s travels around the world has been sold in Bloomingdale's and Henri Bendel, featured in E!, Daily Candy, NY Post, Accessories Magazine, New York Magazine and more. Kim’s art has been featured at VSOP Projects in Greenport, NY, Guild Hall in East Hampton, WNYC’s online gallery and at the Heckscher Museum of Art.
