3 Ways to Get Confident on Camera

“I hate my voice. I am bad on camera. I look bad on video.” So many people come to me saying some version of this. It’s okay if you’re feeling slightly nervous to be on camera. But you can’t let that stop you.

I’ve been coaching people to be on camera for live TV for over 20 years and now coach business owners, real estate agents coaches and consultants to get confident for video and stages.

Here are 3 ways to feel more confident on camera:

1: Wear something you feel great in. It’s an instant confident boost - whether that means a great outfit, makeup, or your lucky shirt.

2: We live in what I call “Supermodel Mode”: we feel like there’s a spotlight on us. Shift your mindset to “Teacher Mode” where you’re focused on the message!

3: Practice. It takes repetition to get good - you are building a new muscle.
